About the Role

Caffe & Co is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused Barista to join our team. We’re passionate about serving great coffee, providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for every customer who walks through our doors.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, solid communication skills and a passion for coffee and hospitality. You’ll play an important role in delivering high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organised workspace, and ensuring every customer has a great experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas and other beverages.
- Provide friendly, productive and professional customer service.
- Take customer orders, process payments and operate the POS system.
- Maintain consistency in coffee quality, presentation and service.
- Keep the café clean, organised and compliant with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Restock coffee beans, milk, cups and other supplies as required.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and equipment maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
- Contribute to a positive, welcoming and team-oriented workplace.

Skills and Experience
- Previous barista or hospitality experience is preferred,



but not essential for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of espresso preparation, milk steaming and latte art is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Reliable, punctual and well-presented.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
