Stuartholme School is a Catholic day and boarding school situated in Toowong, Brisbane.

Boarding Supervisors guide and support our Boarding students while they live on campus for their secondary schooling.

The roles are rewarding for those with a robust sense of community, and who can help students thrive while they are away from home.

Year Level Leaders (Boarding Senior Supervisors) are Team Leaders responsible for a Year Level of Boarding students. They are supported by Boarding Supervisors in the care and guidance of students while at school.

ROLE PURPOSE

Boarding Senior Supervisors assist in the effective care and management of the Boarders in accordance with the "Sacred Heart Model of Boarding". The Senior Supervisor is responsible to the Principal through the Dean of Boarding.

Key areas of Responsibility include:

- Pastoral care
- Administration
- Workplace Health and Safety

These roles are important in supporting students with their schooling while living away from home. The pastoral care aspects of the role include:
- supervising students before and after school hours
- encouraging sound homework and study practices
- monitoring the general health and wellbeing of Boarding students





Essential skills include calm and effective communication, problem solving and flexibility. Experience in Leading a Team is advantageous.

Experience in boarding house or residential care is advantageous.

These positions are for 60 hours a fortnight and cover the term time that students are not in school classes. The role requires availability for mornings, evenings and/or weekends.

Term 1, 2027 starts on 28 January 2027.

The start date for this role will be after 18 January 2027 and will be confirmed on appointment.
