Custom Fluidpower

Banyo

A great team, a supportive workplace and an opportunity to grow.

Following an internal promotion, we're looking for a Branch Support Coordinator to join our fantastic team at Custom Fluidpower in Banyo.

Known for its welcoming, collaborative culture, Custom Fluidpower is a great place to build your career. You'll be joining a supportive, close-knit team where people genuinely look out for one another.

Working closely with our Branch Manager, you'll play an important role in keeping our Brisbane branch organised, safe and running smoothly. From coordinating building maintenance and contractors to supporting workplace safety, purchasing and general branch operations, this is a varied opportunity to make a real contribution across the business.

If you're organised, proactive and enjoy being the person others can rely on to get things done, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As our Branch Support Coordinator, you'll provide practical administrative and operational support across the branch, with a particular focus on building maintenance, facilities coordination and workplace health and safety administration.

Your responsibilities will include

- Coordinating scheduled building maintenance, servicing, repairs and general facilities requirements.
- Liaising with contractors, tradespeople and suppliers to arrange maintenance work and follow up outstanding tasks.
- Supporting workplace health and safety administration, including maintaining registers, inspection records and relevant documentation.
- Welcoming visitors, responding to enquiries and providing front-counter support.
- Managing office supplies, consumables, purchasing and general office requirements.
- Raising purchase orders, processing invoices and liaising with suppliers regarding orders and deliveries.

- Maintaining freight journals and assisting with freight-related administration.
- Providing administrative support across our sales, workshop and dispatch departments, including assisting with essential tasks during staff absences.
- Supporting the Branch Manager with general coordination, documentation and day-to-day operational requirements.

It's a varied position where no two days will necessarily look the same, and your ability to stay organised, follow through on tasks and work collaboratively will make a genuine difference.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their responsibilities and is comfortable working with people across different areas of a business.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Previous experience in branch administration, office coordination, facilities administration or a similar operational support role.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience coordinating suppliers, contractors, maintenance activities or general office requirements.
- Confidence communicating with customers, tradespeople, suppliers and colleagues.
- Good computer skills and experience with purchasing, invoicing or business administration systems.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when maintaining records and documentation.
- A proactive, practical approach to problem-solving and following up outstanding tasks.
- A positive, versatile attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.

Experience supporting workplace safety administration or working in an industrial, manufacturing, engineering or mechanical services environment would be advantageous, but isn't essential. Above all, we're looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team and takes pride in helping the people around them succeed.

What's in It for You?

- A genuinely supportive team: Join a welcoming, collaborative workplace where colleagues look out for one another.
- Career development opportunities: This vacancy has arisen through an internal promotion, reflecting the opportunities available to grow within the business.
- A varied and engaging role: Enjoy a broad range of responsibilities and work closely with different teams across the branch.
- Stability: Enjoy the security of a permanent, full-time position with an established business.
- A wider network: As part of Questas Group, you'll be connected to a national network of businesses specialising in fluid power and industrial services.
