Brand Manager – Rekorderlig & Magners (9-Month Parental Leave Cover, 4–5 Days per Week)

THE OPPORTUNITY

GDA holds the exclusive rights to import, market, sell and distribute Rekorderlig and Magners in Australia. We’re seeking an experienced Brand Manager to lead this premium cider portfolio for nine months from December 2026, while our Brand Manager is on parental leave.

The plan and foundations are in place. Your role is to deliver the plan, maintain momentum in market, and make the decisions required to secure performance this financial year. You’ll also lead brand planning for the next financial year, contribute to innovation development and support our recently launched, high-performing NPD.

You’ll report to the Head of Marketing, with support from an Assistant Brand Manager shared across the brand team.

This is a nine-month fixed-term contract. It offers genuine ownership of two aspirational brands with strong awareness and national ranging. You’ll be supported by a national sales force and have direct access to the Head of Marketing.

The role can be worked over four or five days a week and based out at our Palmyra Office. That makes it well suited to someone returning from leave, balancing other commitments, or seeking a substantial brand leadership role with flexibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Deliver the Rekorderlig and Magners brand plans,



managing budget and playbook delivery
- Develop brand plans for the next financial year, aligned to commercial and brand objectives
- Lead the marketing relationships with Åbro (Rekorderlig) and CCI (Magners), running regular WIPs and reporting on performance and investment
- Direct in-market campaigns across ATL, digital, social, content, POS, marquee occasions and BTL, working with our internal marketing and creative team and agency partners
- Manage the portfolio and plan innovation, including new high-performing NPD launches
- Analyse scan data and category trends, and translate them into clear commercial recommendations
- Equip the national sales team with brand stories, sell-in tools and campaign support
- Hand the brands back in a strong position, with a explicit record of what was delivered and learned

WHAT SETS YOU APART

- Brand management experience, including ownership of a brand plan and budget
- The ability to get up to speed quickly and make sound decisions from your first weeks
- Robust project management skills
- A track record of briefing creative and agency partners and delivering work on time and on brand
- The ability to interpret sales and category data and use it to make commercial decisions
- Confidence managing senior and external stakeholders, including an international brand owner
- The ability to influence sales teams and internal stakeholders and gain their support

Preferred experience

- Alcohol or broader FMCG experience
- Experience managing an international or licensed brand
- Hands-on use of Circana, Power BI or similar tools
- Previous contract or leave-cover experience
