We’re recruiting a Business Advisory Manager for a Perth firm offering a genuinely advisory-focused position. No tax returns. No compliance workload competing for your attention. Your focus will be on helping ambitious business owners understand their performance, work through challenges and make informed decisions about what comes next.With partners actively building the next layer of leadership, there’s also a clear pathway to Associate Director.

About the role

You’ll work closely with business owners to understand their goals, identify opportunities and turn financial insights into practical advice.This role suits someone who enjoys building trusted relationships and contributing to the direction of a business. You’ll bring commercial thinking to client conversations, help owners assess their options and support them as their needs evolve.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Building and managing strong relationships with business advisory clients.
- Leading conversations about business performance, priorities and growth.
- Interpreting financial information and translating it into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Helping clients identify challenges, evaluate opportunities and plan their next steps.
- Working closely with the partners to deliver advice aligned with each client’s goals.
- Identifying opportunities to provide further advisory support as clients’ businesses develop.

About you

You’re comfortable talking with business owners, asking thoughtful questions and making financial information useful. You enjoy understanding what’s happening behind the numbers and helping clients decide what to do about it.

You’ll bring:

- Experience in business advisory within an accounting or professional services environment.
- Strong financial analysis skills and sound commercial judgement.
- The ability to explain complex information clearly and practically.
- Experience managing client relationships and leading productive conversations.
- A proactive approach to identifying issues and recommending solutions.
- The ambition to progress into a senior leadership position.
