Salary: AUD $80,000 – AUD $110,000 per annum

About the Business

Our client, The Trustee for BUTTAR AND BAINS FAMILY TRUST, is seeking a skilled and analytical Business Analyst to support its business operations through process analysis, requirements gathering, data analysis and the implementation of effective business solutions.

The successful applicant will work with management and relevant stakeholders to identify business needs, evaluate existing processes, recommend improvements and support the implementation of systems and strategies that enhance operational efficiency, business performance and decision-making.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Analyses business processes, operational procedures and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Gathers, analyses and documents business requirements by consulting with management, stakeholders and end-users.
- Prepares business requirement documents, functional specifications, process maps and reports to support business planning and system development.
- Evaluates existing business systems and recommends solutions to improve productivity, data management and operational performance.
- Conducts data analysis to identify trends,



assess business performance and provide insights to support informed decision-making.
- Liaises with technical teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into practical system and process solutions.
- Assists in the planning, coordination and implementation of business process improvements and technology-related projects.
- Develops and maintains project documentation, business reports and procedural guidelines to ensure effective communication and implementation of agreed solutions.

Skills and Experience Required The successful applicant must have:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Business Analytics, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or a closely related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Business Process Analyst or in a similar role.
- Experience analysing business processes, documenting requirements and recommending operational improvements.
- Experience supporting small to medium business operations and technology systems.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, communication and documentation skills.
