About the Opportunity:
With GPS’s recent expansion into Brisbane, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager to help shape our next stage of growth. This newly created opportunity will see you build strong customer relationships, develop new business and play a key role in growing our presence across the Queensland market.
You'll represent GPS's technical expertise and end-to-end project delivery capability, working closely with customers to understand their challenges and identify opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, proactively identifying opportunities to solve operational, reliability, capacity, compliance or project challenges.
- Identify and package multi-disciplinary solutions across the Sentra Group, including our Automation, Engineering and Machine Safety teams.
- Manage client enquiries and coordinate after-sales matters to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Electrical, Automation, Engineering and Machine Safety teams to support successful project outcomes.
- Act as the primary contact for assigned accounts.
- Conduct regular business reviews, monitor market trends and identify expansion opportunities.
- Contribute to the development and execution of GPS's Queensland growth strategy.
- Represent GPS at customer meetings, site visits, conferences, networking events and industry functions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior expereince in Business development, technical sales or account management.
- Previous expereince within industrial electrical, manufacturing, or automation services.
- Proven success achieving sales targets within project-based B2B environments.
- Established industry networks across Manufacturing, Intralogistics, and/or Water sectors will be highly regarded.
- Strong customer facing and relationship building capability, with confidence engaging engineering teams and operational stakeholders.
