About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, confident and results-driven Business Development & Sales Representative to join our team at Marrickville Metro Post Office.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, building business relationships and developing new customers.

Your main responsibility will be to actively identify, approach and secure new business customers in Marrickville and surrounding suburbs who require regular parcel shipping and postal services.

This is a proactive, customer-facing sales role involving outbound business visits, prospecting and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities

- Actively visit local businesses to introduce our Australia Post parcel and shipping services.
- Identify and approach potential business customers, particularly e-commerce retailers, online sellers, wholesalers and businesses sending regular parcels.
- Generate new sales leads through face-to-face visits, phone calls and local networking.
- Promote our business parcel services and pickup solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing business customers.
- Follow up with potential customers and convert sales opportunities into ongoing business accounts.
- Work towards customer acquisition and business growth targets.
- Provide excellent customer service and ongoing support to business customers.

Previous experience in business development, outbound sales, logistics, courier services or B2B sales is highly regarded. However, candidates with the right attitude, confidence and willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
