? Large Queensland Government Department An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Cyber Business Systems Analyst to join a major cyber security uplift program within a large Queensland Government department. Working across business and technical teams, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of SOC and SIEM initiatives, helping establish enhanced security monitoring, detection and visibility capabilities across critical technology environments.

This role will suit an experienced Business Analyst with strong cyber security exposure who enjoys stakeholder engagement, process analysis, and translating complex technical requirements into practical business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead business analysis activities across multiple cyber security work packages
- Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews and discovery sessions
- Develop process models,



requirements documentation and future-state operating artefacts
- Assess business impacts, operational dependencies and transition requirements
- Collaborate with cyber security specialists, architects and technical delivery teams

Key Skills:

- Demonstrated Business Analysis experience within complex ICT, cyber security or transformation programs
- Experience supporting SOC, SIEM or broader cyber security initiatives
- Solid requirements gathering, process mapping and documentation skills
- Proven stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation capabilities
- Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
- Exposure to tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Data Lake or related technologies highly regarded
