We are seeking a Casual Canteen Assistant to be part of Mitcham Girls High School Canteen. This is a casual role working Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day, 25 hours per week during school term (40 weeks per year).

- Food preparation and presentation
- Kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
- Maintaining high food safety standards
- Customer service
- Work in a fast-paced workplace
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of various dietary requirements
About you
- Experience in a commercial kitchen highly regarded
- Reliable and punctual
- Collaboration and teamwork
- Ability to multi-task and perform work within deadlines
- Respect towards Students, staff and clients
- Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse & Neglect - EC (RRHAN-EC) Training must be completed
- Employee will be required to be cleared through a Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to confirmation of appointment and 5 years thereafter
