About Us: Inspire Residential Pty Ltd is an established, Brisbane-based residential construction company. We specialise in high-end structural extensions, full home transformations, renovations, and bespoke outdoor timber projects. We are highly regarded for our clean worksites, exceptional craftsmanship, and safety-first culture. Because our projects are completely custom, no two days on-site are ever the same.

The Role: We are seeking a Trade-Qualified, hands-on Carpenter to join our dedicated residential site team. You will work closely with the business owner and a tight-knit team to execute high-end architectural builds on schedule.

Core Responsibilities: .

- Plan Interpretation: Reading and precisely interpreting architectural plans, elevations, and structural details on-site.
- Roofing &
- Framing: Heavy focus on stick framing, traditional roof pitching (ridges/rafters), and prefabricated roof truss setups.
- Structural Work: Executing sub-floors, structural tie-downs to local wind ratings, and structural modifications.
- Lock-up &
- Fix: Installing external cladding, window frames, doors, and internal fix-outs to premium finishing standards.

What We're Looking For [Strict Criteria]:





To be successful in this role, you must meet the following baseline requirements:

- Experience: 2–3 years of post-apprenticeship residential framing, renovation, or extension experience.
- Technical Skill: Proven ability to accurately read, interpret, and set out from architectural plans and engineering drawings.
- Roofing Skills: Proven competency in traditional stick framing and pitching roofs by hand.
- Local Knowledge: Must have prior in office Australian experience working to AS 1684 timber framing codes.
- Compliance: Full, unrestricted Australian working rights (no sponsorship available).
- Communication: Proven ability to liaise professionally and effectively with other trades on-site.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, physically fit, and fully committed to safe work practices.
- Tickets &
- Transport: Certificate III in Carpentry, valid White Card, manual driver's licence, and a reliable vehicle.
