R & J Building Services is an established Canberra-based building and carpentry company specialising in residential and commercial construction.
We work with some of Canberra's leading builders and construction companies, delivering a wide range of projects across the ACT and surrounding regions.
We are looking for a reliable and motivated 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Carpentry Apprentice to join our growing team.
About the Role
You will gain hands-on experience across a variety of carpentry and building works, including:
- Timber and steel wall framing
- Roof truss installation
- Floor joists and flooring systems
- External cladding and roofing
- Fix-out and fit-off carpentry
- Residential and commercial construction projects
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have
- Current White Card
- Asbestos Awareness training
- Silica Awareness training
- Current driver's licence
- Reliable transport to and from work
- Australian citizenship (required for government projects)
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team
- Positive attitude towards workplace safety
Please note: We are not currently recruiting mature-age apprentices.
