NOW HIRING – NEWCASTLE & CHISHOLM

Craig Cook, The Natural Butcher, is recruiting across our Newcastle stores at Marketown, Charlestown and Kotara, with a new Chisholm store opening in February 2027.

1. Cashiers

We are seeking friendly and enthusiastic cashiers, including applicants available for weekend and midweek shifts.

Responsibilities include

- Serving customers and processing sales
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Preparing and packaging products
- Restocking and maintaining product displays
- Keeping the shop clean, organised and presentable

Previous retail, cashier or food-service experience is preferred but not essential. Training can be provided to the right applicants.

2. Experienced Butchers

We are seeking an experienced butcher to join our team.

Responsibilities include

- Preparing, cutting and presenting premium meats to a high standard
- Producing quality sausages and other value-added meat products
- Providing excellent customer service
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Assisting with general butcher shop operations





The successful applicant will have relevant butchery experience. Experience in sausage making and value-added products would be highly regarded. Days and hours are flexible and can be discussed.

3. Expressions of Interest – New Chisholm Store Opening February 2027

Craig Cook, The Natural Butcher, is expanding in Newcastle, with a new store planned to open in Chisholm in February 2027. We are now seeking expressions of interest from people interested in joining our new team.

We would like to hear from applicants for the following positions:

- Qualified Butchers
- Apprentice Butchers
- Retail Cashiers

This is an excellent chance to join a brand-new store from opening and become part of an established butcher and food retail business. Positions, hours and remuneration will be discussed with suitable applicants closer to opening.
