Casual General Team Member | The Great Escape and Hole in One Melbourne

Every great night out here starts with a welcome and ends with a story. In between, there are escape rooms, two indoor minigolf courses, a bar, and a team keeping it all moving.

We're looking for casual General Team members to join us at The Great Escape and Hole in One Melbourne, our flagship venue on Flinders Street.

Who we're looking for

You're the first and last person our guests meet, so personality matters most. We want outgoing, personable and engaging people who are happy to start a conversation with anyone, make groups feel welcome and keep the energy up on a busy night. Customer service or hospitality experience is a big plus and we'd love to hear about it. If you've got the personality but not the experience yet, we're happy to train the right person.

About the role

This is a varied role across the whole venue. One shift you'll be on reception checking groups in, the next you'll be keeping the minigolf courses flowing, taking drinks out to guests or helping host a birthday party or corporate event. Our guests are friends, couples, families, birthday groups and corporate teams, so no two shifts look the same.

What you'll do

- Greet guests, check in bookings and take payments accurately

- Explain how the venue works and get groups onto the course quickly





- Keep tee-off flow moving and the courses tidy and playable

- Take drinks, snacks and add-ons out to guests, and suggest them naturally

- Clear glasses, reset tables and keep the venue looking good through the busiest part of the night

- Help host functions and events, from welcoming groups to running games

- Answer phone and email enquiries

- Report faults, spills and hazards straight away

What you'll need

- An outgoing, friendly personality and genuine enjoyment of talking to people

- Customer service or hospitality experience preferred, with training available for the right person
- A current Victorian RSA certificate, or willingness to get one

- Accurate with payments and comfortable on a POS

- Happy in a role that is busy, physical and varied

- Availability across evenings, weekends and school holidays
