About the role The role will support a range of engineering projects across mining and heavy industry. You will work closely with an RPEQ Mechanical Engineer and will have the prospect to receive ongoing mentoring, exposure to engineering decision-making, and practical experience across the full engineering project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

- Mechanical design and drafting
- 3D CAD modelling - Inventor and AutoCad
- Engineering calculations and technical analysis
- Technical report preparation
- Asset integrity and compliance assessments
- Provide assistance with statutory engineering projects
- Engineering documentation and drawing packages
- General project engineering and project management support

About you

- Currently studying Mechanical Engineering




- Strong attention to detail
- Eager to learn and develop professionally
- Demonstrates initiative and problem-solving ability
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in mining, materials handling or heavy industry
- Experience with Inventor or other CAD software is advantageous but not essential
