Journey Early Learning | Performance Manager – Northern Territory

Lead with purpose. Support our people. Make a difference.

At Journey Early Learning, we believe great outcomes for children start with great people. We’re looking for an experienced early childhood leader to join us as our Centre Quality Manager across the Northern Territory.

This is an opportunity to make a difference beyond a single centre, working alongside our Centre Managers to strengthen quality, support their growth and create environments where children, families and teams can thrive.

If you’re passionate about early learning, enjoy developing leaders and want to help our centres reach their full potential, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

As Centre Quality Manager, you’ll partner with our Centre Managers to support strong centre performance, high-quality educational practices and positive experiences for children, families and educators.

You’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with our teams, understand the unique needs of each centre and work collaboratively to achieve great outcomes.

In this role, you will:

- Support and coach Centre Managers to grow their leadership capability and confidence.
- Drive centre performance across quality, occupancy, budgets and operational priorities.
- Support compliance with regulatory requirements and Journey’s safeguarding practices.
- Encourage continuous improvement and high-quality educational programs.
- Help leaders identify opportunities, navigate challenges and achieve their goals.
- Build strong relationships with centre teams, families and local communities.

- Work collaboratively with Support Office to provide practical guidance and support.
- Travel across the Northern Territory to connect with teams and support centres.

Why Join Journey Early Learning?

At Journey, our people are at the heart of everything we do. Our Employee Value Proposition reflects what matters to us and the experience we want every team member to have.

Trust & Belief

We believe in giving our people the trust and confidence to make a difference. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership, share ideas and work alongside Centre Managers to find solutions that support their centres and communities.

Support & Wellbeing

You won’t be doing it alone. You’ll be part of a collaborative leadership network, working alongside our Support Office and centre teams to share knowledge, navigate challenges and celebrate successes. Our Employee Assistance Program is also available to you and your immediate family.

Growth & Development

We’re passionate about helping our people grow. Through Journey Academy, ongoing professional learning and opportunities to develop your leadership capability, you’ll be supported to keep learning and make the most of your experience.

Passion & Possibilities

We believe in the possibilities that come from great people working together.

You’ll have the chance to influence quality across multiple centres, support meaningful change and help create positive experiences for children and families.

About You

You’re a supportive and driven early childhood leader who enjoys building relationships, developing others and helping teams achieve their best.

You’ll bring

- Significant leadership experience within Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Experience supporting multiple centres, services or operational teams.
- Robust knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard and regulatory requirements.
- A genuine passion for mentoring and developing Centre Managers.
- An understanding of centre operations, including occupancy, budgets and performance.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement and quality educational practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to make decisions.
- The flexibility to travel across the Northern Territory as required.

Our Commitment to Child Safety

At Journey Early Learning, the safety and wellbeing of children is our highest priority. Our See, Act, Tell safeguarding framework empowers every team member to recognise concerns, take appropriate action and speak up to help create safe environments where every child feels protected, respected and heard.

If you’re ready to support great leaders, strengthen our centres and make a meaningful difference across the Northern Territory, we’d love to hear from you.
