Pinnacle Travel Group (PTG) is seeking a suitably skilled Chef to join our hospitality team across The Lane, Simmo’s and Havza on Rottnest Island.

The Role:

Based on Rottnest Island, the successful applicants will be responsible for food preparation, cooking and presentation across The Lane, Simmo’s and Havza. The role requires a strong focus on food quality, kitchen operations, food safety and maintaining consistent standards during busy service periods.

Essential:

- Relevant commercial cookery qualifications and/or demonstrated experience as a Chef.
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, cook and present meals in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain consistency in food quality, portion sizes and presentation.
- Assist with menu preparation, stock control and ordering as required.
- Monitor food storage, stock rotation and wastage.
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen.
- Ensure compliance with food safety legislation and company procedures.
- Follow safe work practices and maintain kitchen equipment.




- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service.

About you:

- Qualified Chef with relevant commercial kitchen experience.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and food safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume hospitality environment.
- Reliable, organised and able to manage competing priorities.
- Good communication skills and a team-focused approach.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation.
