A growing national quasi - in house insurance-focused legal practice is seeking two lawyers to join its Melbourne team: a Special Counsel and a Junior Lawyer / Associate (1â4 PQE).
This practice operates on a unique model that allows lawyers to focus on genuine legal work â running matters end-to-end, appearing in proceedings, and advising insured clients directly â without billable hour targets or business development requirements.
The Work
- Qualified indemnity matters across a range of professions
- Personal injury and liability claims
- Litigated and advisory work, managed end-to-end
- Direct client engagement and court exposure
About You
Special Counsel:
- Senior insurance lawyer with strong professional indemnity experience with personal injury
- Confident managing complex matters and providing strategic oversight
- Enjoys mentoring and contributing to team leadership
Junior Lawyer / Associate (1â4 PQE):
- Background in personal injury or litigation
- Strong drafting and analytical skills
- Keen to develop within a supportive, structured environment
