Seeking a Citrix Systems Administrator with experience in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, VMware Horizon, or Azure Virtual Desktop

Systems Administrator is a senior technical role responsible for the delivery and support of ICT solutions built on Microsoft and Citrix Virtualisation based technologies. This includes design, installation, configuration, maintenance, support and optimisation of ICT systems and supporting infrastructure. This role sits within a team responsible for the delivery, support and security of ICT solutions across a wide range of technology areas including operating system management, application management.

VDI and endpoints.

Key Responsibilities

- Demonstrated experience in deploying and maintaining Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions such as Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, VMware Horizon, or Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Diploma or higher qualification in the field of Information Technology.
- IT industry certifications or relevant industry experience.
- Ability to think logically and creatively in a high-pressure environment.

Mandatory Qualifications

- Citrix related experience and/or certifications would be highly advantageous





Desirable Qualifications

- Diploma or higher qualification in the field of Information Technology.
- IT Industry certifications or relevant Industry experience.

Required Knowledge/Experience and tools

- Installation, management and support of desktop virtualisation technologies.
- Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
- Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
- Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, Group Policy, File & Print and/or WSUS.
- Scripting (PowerShell, Python, PERL, Bash, Batch, or VBScript).
- Ability to think logically and creatively in a high-pressure workplace.

Contract: 6 Month Contract

Security Required: TSPV Security Clearance required
