Timber Roof Truss Assembler

Location: Unanderra, NSW

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Overtime: Occasional overtime available

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Timber Roof Truss Assembler to join a busy manufacturing facility in Unanderra. This role involves assembling timber roof trusses using power tools and manual assembly techniques.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside the current operator during a handover period, providing valuable training and support while learning the role.

Previous roof truss assembly experience is highly regarded; however, experienced carpenters, timber workers, and candidates with timber industry experience who are eager to learn and develop into a Truss Assembler are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble timber roof trusses using manual assembly methods.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Measure, position, and assemble timber components accurately.
- Follow assembly instructions, production requirements, and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.




- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.

Skills & Experience
- Previous timber roof truss assembly experience preferred.
- Carpentry, woodworking, timber manufacturing, or related timber industry experience highly regarded.
- Experience using hand and power tools in a construction, manufacturing, or workshop environment.
- Current White Card.
- Ability to read measurements accurately and work with attention to detail.
- Strong focus on workplace health and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn.
