About the Role

We’re seeking reliable Civil Labourers to support a growing workload across Townsville civil construction projects. You’ll work alongside operators and site crews, assisting with earthworks, drainage, site preparation and general labouring.

Your Duties Will Include:

- Assisting with site preparation, set-up and clean-up

- Digging, backfilling and compacting trenches

- Supporting drainage, pipe-laying and concreting works

- Moving materials and assisting with loading and unloading

- Spotting machinery and maintaining safe exclusion zones

- Using hand and power tools safely

- Following site instructions and reporting hazards

- Maintaining a tidy and secure work environment

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A current Construction White Card
- A current open manual driver’s licence

- Physical fitness and the ability to carry out repetitive manual tasks

- Confidence working outdoors and around mobile plant

- Excellent attendance, punctuality and reliability
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- The ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly
- A positive attitude and willingness to help the team

Desirable

- Previous civil construction or general labouring experience

- Experience assisting with earthworks, drainage or concreting

- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools and compaction equipment

- Additional relevant tickets and reliable transport
