Role Description The Civil Supervisor is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Greater Sydney Area, with a mix of in office presence and some work from home for planning and reporting tasks. This role is responsible for supervising daily site operations, coordinating crews and subcontractors, and ensuring work is completed in line with project plans, safety standards, and quality requirements.

The Civil

Supervisor will monitor progress, address site issues, manage resources and plant usage, and maintain accurate records of work completed. The role includes conducting site inspections, enforcing compliance with WHS regulations, liaising with project managers and clients, and contributing to continuous improvement of site processes.

Supervisor will also support scheduling, prepare basic reports, and communicate clearly with stakeholders to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills and Site Supervision capabilities for civil construction projects.
- Candidates should possess experience working On Site in civil works, including earthworks, excavation, and remediation activities.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills to ensure compliance with specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating teams, engaging with subcontractors, and reporting to management and clients.
- Relevant experience in civil construction, preferably in supervision or leading crews on medium to large projects.
- Knowledge of WHS legislation and safe work practices, with the ability to enforce safety standards on site.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Current drivers licence; construction white card and other relevant tickets (e.g., plant operation, traffic control) are an advantage.
- Certificate or diploma in civil construction, engineering, or a related field is desirable, or equivalent industry experience.
