McAuley Catholic College is situated in Grafton on the North Coast of NSW, and provides a Catholic education to students of the Clarence Valley. We are a Christ-centred community, founded on the traditions of the Sisters of Mercy and Marist Brothers. This role is classified as Level 4.1 averaged under the NSW and ACT Systemic Catholic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2025 as updated or reviewed.

Applicants Must

- hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
- comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment

Applicants Must Be Able To Demonstrate The Following Criteria

- a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school.
- experience in working with children with special needs, including children on the autism spectrum
- awareness of the needs of students with diagnosed allergies and training in the use of EpiPen
- ability to successfully implement programs and document progress regarding individual and/or small group support
- preparedness to undergo further training in aiding children with special needs
- experience in working collaboratively with teaching staff in a classroom workplace
