The Role

We’re looking for an experienced dental assistant who is ready to move into a coordination and leadership role, and who wants to build a long-term career with a specialist practice.

This is a full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm. You’ll combine hands-on chairside work with responsibility for the smooth running of our clinical team. You will be the person the clinicians and dental assistants rely on to keep each day organised, safe and running on time.

Key Responsibilities

- Stock, inventory and ordering. Manage all clinical stock, instruments and equipment, including each clinician’s implant components. Keep everything organised and accounted for, place orders well ahead of need, and source best pricing for supplies.
- Accounts support. Check deliveries against invoices, keep accurate ordering records, and prepare invoices and monthly statements for payment approval.
- Team training and rostering. Train and supervise dental assistants and reception staff, and support the monthly staff roster.
- Equipment and compliance. Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs, maintain infection-control standards, and report any issues promptly.
- Systems and continuous improvement. Review practice protocols and procedures, suggest and roll out improvements, and help lead our two-yearly practice accreditation.
- Hands-on support. Step in chairside, including implant and surgical assisting, as well as in sterilisation or at reception as needed. This includes preparing lab work and following up lab cases so patient appointments stay on track.

About You





- At least 3 years’ experience as a dental assistant (surgical or implant experience highly regarded)
- Ready to step up into a coordination or senior role, or already working in one
- Looking for a long-term position. We are investing in someone who wants to build their career with us over the coming years

- High standards in infection control and attention to detail
