Reporting to a excellent Finance Manager, you'll take ownership of collections activities, managing outstanding accounts and following up on payment issues.
Flexible start and finish is available.
About the Role
You can expect to be hands-on with:
- Managing outstanding accounts and collections follow-ups
- Monitoring direct debit outcomes and payment arrangements
- Managing the collections inbox and responding to payment queries
- Following up on overdue payments via email and phone
- Investigating payment discrepancies and resolving account issues
- Reviewing account liabilities and relevant documentation
- Working with internal administration teams to resolve outstanding matters
- Maintaining accurate records and helping reduce outstanding collections
Who You Are You have a high level of empathy and you're able to speak to and build relationships with people of all backgrounds.
- 2+ years' experience in collections
- Strong experience managing overdue accounts and payment follow-ups
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and account resolution
- Experience with aXcelerate or similar systems will be advantageous
