Commercial Litigation Lawyer (3 Years PAE up to Special Counsel level)
Brisbane | Established Multi-Practice Law Firm An opportunity is available for an experienced commercial litigator to join a national law firm with a well-established Brisbane disputes practice and a strong flow of ongoing work across multiple jurisdictions. This position offers the chance to build on your litigation experience within a team handling a diverse range of commercial disputes. Depending on experience, this opportunity could lend itself to Associate through to Special Counsel level and the firm is open to tailoring the role to suit the right candidate’s experience, strengths and career ambitions.
The Opportunity
You will be involved in a varied caseload of commercial litigation work with responsibility for progressing matters, developing legal strategies and advising clients on practical outcomes. Depending on your level of experience, you will manage files with considerable independence while having access to experienced senior practitioners for guidance and collaboration. The practice handles a broad range of disputes, including:
- Commercial, shareholder and partnership disputes
- Contractual and construction-related litigation
- Property, leasing and tenancy disputes
- Qualified negligence claims
- Trust, succession and estate litigation
- Defamation and regulatory proceedings
- Insolvency, debt recovery and enforcement matters
From initial advice and dispute resolution through to contested court proceedings, you will gain exposure to matters of varying complexity, including Supreme Court litigation.

About You
You will be a commercially minded lawyer with at least three years' post-admission experience and a background in commercial litigation. You are likely to bring:

- The ability to provide clear, commercially focused advice to clients.
- Confidence in managing competing priorities and progressing matters independently.
