This is a hands-on position that combines technical compounding responsibilities with elements of workflow coordination and team support. You'll be involved in preparing customised medications tailored to individual patient needs, with a strong focus on precision, consistency and quality.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately prepare a variety of compounded medications, following established formulations and procedures.
- Maintain a high standard of precision, consistency and quality across all preparations.
- Demonstrate strong manual dexterity when weighing, measuring, mixing and preparing medications.
- Assist with organising daily compounding workloads, prioritising tasks and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Provide guidance and support to other compounding technicians to maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation, records and quality control processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, hygiene and compounding standards.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of compounding procedures and workplace efficiency.
About you
- Previous experience as a Dispensary Technician or in a similar pharmacy role (preferred).
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good manual dexterity and confidence performing precise, hands-on tasks.
- A methodical and consistent approach to following procedures.
- Robust organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive attitude, reliability and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Confidence supporting other team members and taking responsibility for daily tasks.
- A willingness to learn new techniques and contribute to improvements in our processes.
