About You
We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Construction Sales Representative with a “can-do” attitude to join our VIC Sales team based in Noble Park. In this external sales role, you are our “sale closer” responsible for closing sales of ACO products on all types of construction projects through customers such as merchants and wholesalers, building and civil contractors, trade sub-contractors, councils, government departments, public utilities and key accounts.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the Melbourne metropolitan area, extending west through to Geelong. You will pursue project specifications, quotes and customer enquiries with the aim of closing orders for ACO construction products. You will seek new business opportunities while growing sales from existing customers, utilising the resources provided by the internal sales team to maximise every sales opportunity.
You will also be accountable for meeting sales targets and budgeted profit margins.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in construction sales
- Ability to understand basic engineering principles and interpret construction drawings.
- Excellent time management and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills to influence others and create and maintain long term internal and external relationships.
Tertiary qualifications in the sales or business related fields would be advantageous. Some regional travel may be required. At ACO Pty Ltd we aim to recruit, develop and retain our employees.
