Due to continued growth and expanding contracts in the Gunnedah region, we are looking for experienced Conveyor Belt Splicers and motivated Trainees to join our growing team.

About the Positions

Based at our Gunnedah workshop, successful applicants will join our site maintenance teams, undertaking conveyor belt installation, maintenance and repair activities across local mining operations.

Experienced Conveyor Belt Splicers

We are seeking experienced personnel with skills in:

- Hot and cold vulcanised conveyor belt splicing
- Fabric, steel cord and solid woven conveyor belting
- Conveyor belt installation, replacement and repairs
- Conveyor belt maintenance, inspections and fault finding
- Operating specialised conveyor installation and splicing equipment




- Working safely and efficiently during shutdowns, breakdowns and scheduled maintenance

Trainee Conveyor Belt Splicers No previous conveyor belt splicing experience is necessary for trainee positions.

We're looking for motivated individuals who:

- Are keen to learn a specialised trade and develop a long-term career
- Have a solid work ethic and reliable attitude
- Enjoy hands-on, practical work
- Are comfortable working in physically demanding environments
- Can follow instructions and work effectively within a team
- Have a genuine commitment to workplace safety

Successful trainees will receive practical on-the-job training alongside experienced belt splicers, with opportunities to develop nationally recognised industry qualifications.

Skills & Qualifications

The following qualifications and experience will be highly regarded:
- Certificate II or III in Polymer Processing or relevant belt splicing qualifications
- Previous mining, conveyor or heavy industrial experience
- Current NSW driver's licence
- MR or HR driver's licence
- Dogging and rigging qualifications
- Working at Heights and Confined Space qualifications
- Strong understanding of workplace safety requirements, including SWMS and risk assessments
