Cook – Chipping Norton Village

We’re looking for two passionate and reliable Cooks to join our team at Chipping Norton Village on a casual basis.

Please note: These casual positions require flexibility to work both morning and afternoon shifts, as well as availability across different days of the week.

What you’ll do

As a Cook, you’ll play an key role in delivering nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents, their families and visitors. Working closely with our kitchen and care teams, you’ll help create enjoyable dining experiences while ensuring food is prepared safely, efficiently and with care.

Your day-to-day will include: Preparing and serving a variety of nutritious, high-quality meals. Following food safety, hygiene and safe food-handling practices. Maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment.



Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to support smooth daily operations. Contributing to a positive kitchen culture and delivering friendly, customer-focused service. What you’ll bring

Ideally, you’ll bring: Experience working as a cook in a commercial kitchen, with aged care or healthcare experience highly regarded. Knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP and workplace health and safety principles. Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills. A Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience in aged care or a similar environment. Availability to work flexible morning and afternoon shifts, with flexibility to work across different days of the week. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their cooking, enjoys working with others and understands that valuable food can make a real difference to our residents’ day.
