responsibilities Inspect food items to ensure quality and freshness. Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to menu standards. Operate ovens, grills, and other kitchen equipment at the correct temperatures.





Adjust seasonings and refine flavours to maintain consistent food quality. Portion food accurately and garnish dishes with sauces, gravies, and other accompaniments. Store food safely under appropriate temperature-controlled conditions.

Prepare meals to meet special dietary requirements when required. Assist with menu planning and estimating food quantities as needed. Support and train junior kitchen staff and apprentices. Qualification &

experience AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV or equivalent qualification or equivalent work experience Minimum 1 year of experience in related field. In-depth knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen operations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
