KCA Site Services is delivering an underground refrigeration drilling program across the WA Goldfields. This is the critical infrastructure that moves cooling to working levels in deep mines.
We're looking for a Project Engineer who wants more than another shutdown or civil job, and who wants to own the delivery of work that directly keeps underground crews safe and productive.
You'll be based in our Perth office with regular trips to site. You get the variety of real field exposure without giving up a home life.

What you'll be doing
- Planning and delivering underground drilling projects from mobilisation to close-out
- Coordinating drilling contractors, suppliers and site personnel to hit milestones
- Tracking schedules, budgets and progress, and flagging issues early
- Supporting procurement, equipment mobilisation and contractor management
- Building and maintaining work packs, reports, schedules and cost tracking
- Contributing to risk assessments, pre-starts and safety reviews
- Working with engineering, operations and site teams to solve technical and operational problems
- Supporting QA and compliance with client, regulatory and company standards
- Getting underground to monitor progress and provide technical support during execution
What you'll bring
- 3+ years as a Project Engineer in mining, drilling or heavy industry
- Exposure to underground drilling, mine development, geotechnical drilling or underground infrastructure
- Solid grasp of construction, contractor management and project delivery
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and contractors
- Working knowledge of WA mining safety legislation and contractor management requirements
- Strong organisation, communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management systems
- Current C-Class driver's licence and full Australian working rights
- Willingness to travel to site as required
Bonus points
- An engineering degree (mining, civil, mechanical or similar)
- Previous involvement in ventilation, refrigeration or raise-bore drilling
