## Volunteer Chance – Share Friendship and Make a Difference
We are seeking a warm, friendly and caring female volunteer who speaks English or French to spend quality time with Edwige, an older person who would love to enjoy meaningful conversations and friendly companionship.
This is a beautiful opportunity to brighten someone’s day through simple acts of kindness. Whether it’s sharing a cup of tea or coffee, enjoying the sunshine in the garden, talking about life, or reminiscing about special memories, your time and companionship can make a real difference.
We are looking for someone who is patient, kind, reliable and genuinely enjoys connecting with others. No previous experience is necessary — just a warm heart and a willingness to share your time.
⏰ Time commitment: Approximately one hour each week or fortnight.
️ Languages: English or French.
Who we are looking for: A caring female volunteer who enjoys conversation, values human connection and would love to make a positive difference in an older person’s life.
All volunteers are required to undergo a National Police Check and will receive ongoing support and training from their ACVVS Program Coordinator.

Time Required
Volunteers are required to visit once per fortnight (although we prefer weekly where possible), duration of visit is up to you. We require a commitment of minimum 6 months - 12 months or longer.
Training
Training is provided in addition to ongoing support from your local Volunteer Program Coordinator
