The Role

Join our team as a Gardener - Handyperson and contribute to fostering a positive learning environment! As a key member, suitable applicants will ideally be instrumental in maintaining the school grounds, ensuring they are safe, tidy, and conducive to a positive environment for both students and staff. From overseeing the turf areas, garden beds, and shrubs to managing hard landscaping features like courts and paving, you would play a vital role in creating an inviting and inspiring outdoor space.

In this role you will ideally be confident in performing minor repairs and have a sound knowledge of secure work practices to carry out your duties. Applicants who have the capacity to work unsupervised, with the ability to identify and recognise work that is required to be completed, without specific direction, will be highly regarded.

Your commitment to maintaining gardening facilities, equipment, and tools in a good condition will be integral to promoting a positive culture within the school.

The suitable applicants would continue to upgrade our existing school grounds and maintain them to a high standard. We are ideally looking for a team player to join our friendly staff who can adapt to the diverse role as a school gardener.

If you're passionate about cultivating not just landscapes but also a positive and vibrant school culture, we welcome you to be part of our team!
