Specialised Pavement Services (SPS) is the largest provider of contract Road Sweeping / Suction Broom Services in Australia.

We are presently seeking A STREET SWEEPER SUPERVISOR with MR/HR truck license to fulfil our service obligations in Darwin.

The position is based in Darwin NT..

The work involves the supervision of SPS's operators, fleet & contracts for the delivery of our various contracts for infrastructure projects, Local and State Governments and the private sector. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, reliable and flexible about working hours. You need to be a morning person as we start is generally early.

Along with performing your role to the highest level of safety and quality, you will be responsible for the effective management of staff & ensuring equipment is maintained to National Heavy Vehicle Laws and Company regulations. The role will incorporate some contract administration management & reporting to deliver upon our contract KPI's.





Some mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and plant concepts is advantageous as well as a problem solving focus. The role will require both supervision and operation of street & footpath sweepers.

Plant to be operated includes HINO trucks and MacDonald Johnson/Bucher Municipal range of road sweepers & Hako CityMaster 1650 Footpath machines..

While previous experience is an advantage, we are prepared to train candidates who display the right qualities or those who can demonstrate previous experience operating similar plant, equipment and supervisory roles. This role presents a great chance to grow the role as the business in the region continues to expand.
