About the Role-

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise cloud data platform. In this role, you will bridge strategic business requirements with hands-on technical delivery, shaping our up-to-date data warehouse, analytics, and AI/ML foundations. You will work closely with data engineers, analytics teams, and executive stakeholders across the Australian business.

Key Responsibilities

- Architecture & Design: Design and build scalable, secure, and cost-optimized Snowflake data architectures to support enterprise data warehousing, real-time analytics, and AI/ML use cases.
- Pipeline & Transformation:



Drive the implementation of ELT/ETL pipelines utilizing Snowflake native features (Tasks, Streams, Snowpipe) alongside transformation tools like dbt (data build tool).
- Data Governance & Security: Establish robust data governance frameworks, role-based access control (RBAC), data masking, and PII protection in alignment with Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and enterprise security standards.
- Performance & Cost Optimization: Monitor, tune, and optimize Snowflake compute (virtual warehouses), storage costs, and query performance.
