The Opportunity

Catholic Education South Australia is seeking expressions of interest from accomplished Catholic educational leaders for the 12-month role of Director: Schools and Early Years Services. This executive role provides strategic leadership across school improvement, principal capability, regional support and early years services, helping drive a consistent and evidence-informed approach to improvement across CESA.

Working closely with the Director: Excellence, Equity and Inclusion, key areas of focus include:

- Providing strategic leadership to Regional Managers and strengthening the region-based model.
- Strengthening principal capability, accountability and succession planning.
- Leading Early Years Services in alignment with CESA priorities and reforms.
- Providing strategic advice on school and system performance, learning, inclusion and wellbeing.
- Leading high-performing teams and system-wide improvement initiatives.

About You

You will be a credible and influential Catholic educational leader with:





- Significant educational leadership experience and a strong understanding of school improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change and influence at a senior level.
- Robust strategic, analytical and relationship-building capability.
- The ability to translate strategy and evidence into clear priorities and action.
- A strong and vibrant commitment to the Catholic faith.
- A teaching degree and relevant postgraduate qualification, preferably at Masters level or higher.
