We’re looking for compassionate, reliable and motivated Disability Support Workers to join our team supporting participants across Nambucca, Valla and South Arm.

About the Role As a Disability Support Worker with Nextt, you’ll provide person-centred support tailored to each participant’s individual needs, preferences and goals.

Your responsibilities may include

- Personal care: Supporting participants with personal hygiene and daily routines while maintaining dignity, privacy and respect.
- Daily living support: Encouraging independence and building confidence in everyday activities.
- Community access: Accompanying participants to appointments, activities and community events to help them stay socially connected.
- Domestic assistance: Supporting household tasks to maintain a safe, comfortable and welcoming home environment.
- Meal preparation: Assisting with meal planning and preparation in line with individual preferences and dietary requirements.
- Complex support needs: Providing appropriate support in accordance with participant care plans, training and relevant procedures.

Every shift is an opportunity to build meaningful relationships, encourage independence and make a genuine difference. Shift Availability Regular shifts are available between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.

Applicants must be available to work within this timeframe.



Additional shifts may become available depending on participant needs and service requirements.

Skills & Experience Previous disability support experience is highly regarded, particularly experience supporting people with complex or specialised needs, including:

- Complex bowel care
- Manual handling
- Mental health support
- Autism awareness
- Diabetes management
- Mobility support
- Pressure care and wound care

We’re looking for people who are caring, dependable and professional, with a genuine passion for supporting people with disability. You’ll also demonstrate strong communication skills, respect for individual choice and a commitment to promoting dignity, safety and independence.

Pay Rates – E3.1 Casual | In-Home & SIL Casual pay rates under the SCHADS Award, including casual loading and before tax:

- Monday–Friday: $36.81 per hour
- Afternoon: $40.49 per hour
- Active Night: $41.23 per hour
- Saturday: $51.54 per hour
- Sunday: $66.26 per hour
- Public Holiday: $80.99 per hour

What You'll Need To be considered for this opportunity, you’ll need:
- A current driver's licence
- Access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- A valid Working with Children Check – Employee

You’ll also need a commitment to participant safety, confidentiality, safeguarding and delivering respectful, person-centred support.
