South West Kitchen Company is seeking a skilled Draftsperson to join our team in the South West, WA. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for producing detailed plans and drawings for our cabinet making projects, ensuring the efficient and accurate realisation of our clients visions.

Key Responsibilities

- Interpreting client design briefs, architectural drawings and specifications to prepare detailed technical and manufacturing drawings;
- Preparing detailed cabinetry, joinery and shop drawings using CAD/design software;
- Preparing and optimising drawings and digital files for CNC machining and production;
- Reviewing designs for dimensional accuracy and manufacturing feasibility;
- Liaising with project managers, site supervisors, clients and workshop staff regarding design and production requirements;




- Incorporating site variations and design changes into revised drawings;
- Maintaining appropriate drawing and design version control; and
- Preparing material requirements and coordinating materials required for manufacture and installation.

Skill & Experience
- Proven experience as a Draftsperson or similar design role, ideally within the cabinet making or construction industry

- Robust technical drawing and documentation skills with an eye for detail

- Ability to interpret client requirements and translate them into practical, functional designs

- Problem-solving mindset with a collaborative approach to working with the production team

- Excellent communication
