We are a Steiner inspired Early learning centre that emphasis's the value of a play-based pedagogy. Teaching and caring for young children is complex, an Educators role in a child's life impacts, inspires, and influences the way that a child develops, learns and grows. We value the well-being of our Educators, and we proudly provide an environment where educators are encouraged to be positive and passionate in all they do at Whispering Gully.

We are looking for an experienced early childhood teacher who has obtained their Bachelor of Education or actively working towards completion.

The successful applicant must have a passion for working with children, as well as:

- Create engaging environments for children to explore and document their learning and development at a high standard.
- Building and maintaining relationships with our amazing children, families, and educators.
- Develop learning programs based on your knowledge of each child,



their interests and goals using the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
- Implement all guidelines under the NQF and guide less experienced Educators and students.
- Confident in communication with families

Skills and experience

- Hold Bachelor of Education or working towards
- Hold a valid Blue Card
- Hold a current First Aid Qualifications (Early Childhood specific)
- Previous experience working in an Early Education and Care service
- Demonstrated ability to document children’s learning
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Positive, caring attitude with a focus on teamwork
- Skilled presentation
- Organised
