Electrogroup is seeking expressions of interest from motivated and enthusiastic people for consideration for our 2027 1st Year Electrical Apprentice Intake across NSW, including Sydney, the North Coast and South Coast.

We’re looking for candidates who are:

- Genuinely interested in the electrical industry

- Reliable, punctual and hardworking

- Safety conscious

- Willing to learn and take direction

- Comfortable working as part of a team

- Committed to completing their apprenticeship and formal training

- Able to demonstrate good academic results, particularly in mathematics, together with good school attendance

A driver licence and reliable transport will be highly regarded.

? Your Cover Letter

All applicants must provide a cover letter with their application.

In your cover letter, please briefly tell us:

1. Why you want to become an electrical apprentice and what interests you about the electrical industry.

2. Why you believe you would be a valuable apprentice, including examples that demonstrate your reliability, punctuality, work ethic and willingness to learn.





3. Your approach to workplace safety and why safety is important when working in the electrical industry.

4. Any relevant experience, including work experience, school subjects, TAFE or pre-apprenticeship studies, part-time work, volunteering, projects or practical activities.

5. Your academic results, particularly in mathematics, and your school attendance record.

6. Whether you hold a current driver licence or learner licence and have access to reliable transport.

7. Where you are currently located and the areas of NSW you would be prepared to travel to for work.

8. Why you are committed to completing a four-year electrical apprenticeship, including the required formal training.
