The Role

Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for a leading hand / project manager to oversee significant commercial contracts. The role would ideally suit an existing leading hand who is ready to take the next step and further their project management and estimating skills.

Core duties include

- Manage and lead on-site works for Commercial projects
- Partner with the Project Supervisor to deliver projects on-time and on-budget
- Manage materials and equipment necessary to complete the client's project.
- Co-ordinate labour resources, procurement and delivery of materials, plant, and equipment.
- Interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing and market insights.
- Develop strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
- Supervise and develop strong relationships with your team to deliver business and client expectations.

- Experience in the electrical installation industry, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

- Innovative and open thinking, with valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with exceptional time management.

Who are you?

- A tertiary qualification within electrical (or a related) fields would be welcomed.
- Ideally you have experience working on large projects and supervising teams.
- You have strong knowledge of OH&S; and put the safety of your team first.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Experience with SimPRO would be advantageous.
