ABOUT US
Air Restore Pty Ltd (ABN 77 150 815 679) is an ISO 9001-certified commercial HVAC hygiene and remediation business based at 32 Dividend St, Mansfield QLD 4122. We clean, remediate, upgrade and protect HVAC systems in hospitals, commercial buildings and critical environments across Queensland. Our work includes air handling units, fan coil units, ductwork, heater banks, mould and corrosion remediation, UV-C germicidal systems (Sanuvox).
THE ROLE
We're looking for an Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to test, fault-find, maintain, install and commission the electrical, electronic and control equipment in the HVAC systems and air hygiene technology we work on.
KEY DUTIES
- Inspect and test AHU and FCU motors, EC fans, sensors, actuators, control panels and UV-C systems to diagnose faults before and after remediation works
- Repair or replace defective components and wiring, and maintain UV-C lamps, ballasts and controllers.
- Reassemble, test-run and adjust HVAC equipment and controls after cleaning, coating or remediation, so systems go back into service correctly
- Install and commission UV-C germicidal systems,
monitoring instruments and related control equipment in commercial and healthcare facilities
- Advise facility managers and maintenance staff on correct operation and care of equipment to prevent malfunctions
- Complete service reports, test records and WHS documentation (SWMS, risk assessments)
- Work safely in live healthcare environments, including hospital theatres and plant rooms
ABOUT YOU
- At least 2 years' experience fault-finding and maintaining electrical/electronic equipment, preferably in HVAC or building services
- Able to read wiring diagrams, schematics and control drawings
- Current driver's licence, and willing to travel for regional work (e.g. Cairns, Gladstone, Biloela)
- Construction White Card; working-at-heights and confined-space tickets are an advantage
- Strong safety focus and good written and verbal communication
WHAT WE OFFER
- $80,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on experience
