Electrician | Electrical, Solar, Batteries & Air Conditioning

Ready for more variety, better opportunities and a team you actually enjoy working with? Join Eco Spark Electrical & Solar, a family-owned South Australian business based in Gawler. We’re looking for a qualified electrician who takes pride in their work, communicates well and wants to build a future with a great team.

From quality new homes and commercial fit-outs to solar, battery storage and off-grid projects, you’ll have the opportunity to broaden your skills across a wide range of work.

Immediate start available for the right person.

What’s in it for you?

- Above-award pay that recognises your experience, skills and contribution.
- Late-model work vehicle and fuel card provided.
- Phone, tablet and uniforms supplied, plus an initial basic hand-tool kit.
- Training and support to expand your skills across solar, batteries, off-grid systems and air conditioning.
- Room to grow, with opportunities to take on more responsibility as your skills develop.
- A varied project workload, with very little service and maintenance.
- A close-knit, supportive team that values quality work, good communication and helping each other out.

And we make time to enjoy ourselves along the way: Monthly team BBQs, fortnightly toolbox meetings with breakfast, and quarterly team events; a chance to unwind together, or wind each other up.

The work

You’ll work across Gawler, the Barossa, and wider South Australia, with a mix of residential and commercial projects.

Electrical

- First and second fix electrical for current builds and some renovation projects.
- Renovations and commercial fit-outs.
- Testing, commissioning and fault-finding.
- Very little routine service and maintenance.

Solar, Batteries & Off-grid

- Solar and battery installations for new homes, existing homes and commercial properties.
- Projects covering system design through to installation and commissioning,

with opportunities to develop your skills throughout the process.
- Off-grid installations, with opportunities to head 'bush' if that interests you.

Air conditioning

- Split systems, ducted reverse-cycle and evaporative systems.
- First and second fix installations in new builds.
- Installations in existing residential and commercial properties.

You don’t need to arrive as an expert in every area. Bring strong electrical skills and the right attitude, and we’ll help you build the rest.

Who we’re looking for

You’re someone who cares about the finished result, keeps a tidy worksite and can communicate confidently with builders, clients and the rest of the crew.

You’ll need

- A current unrestricted electrical licence.
- A current driver’s licence and White Card.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe, compliant work.
- The ability to read plans, solve problems and work independently.
- A team-first attitude and willingness to keep learning.
- A keen sense of good communication.

Solar accreditation is strongly preferred, but not essential. Battery accreditation and a Certificate II in refrigeration/air conditioning would also be highly regarded, but training is available for the right candidate.

Why Eco Spark?

We’re small enough for your contribution to be noticed, with enough variety and capability to take on exciting projects. We care about our workmanship, our clients and the people doing the work. If you want to contribute ideas, develop your skills and be part of a team that takes pride in what it delivers, you’ll fit right in.

Let’s have a chat

Send your resume and a few lines about yourself to [email protected], or call Scott on [0402 940 321](tel:0402 940 321) for a confidential chat. You don’t need a polished cover letter- we’d rather hear about your experience, what you enjoy doing and what you’re looking for in your next role.

Great work. Good people. A future worth building.
