Our client is a well-established local business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality embroidery products and services. Operating year-round, they are committed to maintaining exceptional standards while fostering a supportive and team-focused workplace. Due to continued business growth and upcoming staff departures, they are seeking an experienced Embroiderer to join their team.
Your new role
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Embroiderer to join a team operating six specialised embroidery machines. Working in a busy production environment, you will be responsible for producing high-quality embroidered products while ensuring accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail.This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with overtime opportunities available.Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating and monitoring commercial embroidery machines
- Preparing garments and materials for production
- Maintaining quality standards across all embroidered products
- Meeting production schedules and deadlines
- Identifying and resolving minor production issues
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Working collaboratively within a small team environment
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous embroidery experience highly regarded
- Experience operating embroidery machines or similar production equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliable, punctual and committed to long-term employment
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Good communication skills
- Overseas embroidery experience will be considered
- Must be available to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
What you'll get in return In return, you'll secure a permanent full-time position with a stable business that operates year-round. You'll receive a competitive hourly rate of $30 - $35 per hour, depending on experience, plus overtime opportunities. To recognise commitment and reliability, a $2,000 retention bonus is available after 12 months of employment.
