We're looking for a single portfolio, program and project management (P3M), governance and assurance expert to support potential upcoming work in Canberra, helping design and deliver practitioner-level training for Defence capability personnel. The work draws on deep subject matter knowledge, applied to practical, job-relevant content.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide subject matter expertise on portfolio, program and project management, governance and assurance
- Contribute to the design and development of practitioner-level learning content
- Develop case studies, practical exercises and scenarios that let participants apply the concepts
- Support delivery of training, mainly in person, with some virtual elements
- Keep content current as frameworks and governance arrangements evolve

Required





- Expertise in portfolio, program and project management (P3M)
- Expertise in governance and assurance, including gate and approval mechanisms
- Knowledge of delegations, thresholds and guardrails
- Expertise in risk and issue management
- Expertise in benefits and outcomes realisation
- Experience designing or delivering practitioner-level training, or applying case studies and scenarios

- Mainly in-person delivery, with some elements virtual
