About the role and you

As Event Manager, you will lead the planning, delivery and ongoing management of a portfolio of client events, ensuring exceptional experiences for clients, guests and stakeholders. Working within Ballpark and the wider Sports Entertainment Network, you will oversee events from concept through to execution, managing budgets, timelines, suppliers and client relationships while identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery and commercial outcomes.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing strategic thinking with operational execution.

The main duties include:

- Manage end-to-end event delivery, including planning, execution and post-event evaluation.
- Lead multiple event projects simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
- Build and maintain robust client relationships,



acting as the primary point of contact throughout the event lifecycle.
- Develop event strategies and creative concepts that align with client objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Coordinate suppliers, venues, contractors and event staff to ensure seamless event execution.
- Manage event budgets, client fees and billing schedules to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
- Oversee invoicing, debtor management and monthly financial reconciliations.
- Monitor project profitability, resource allocation and client servicing levels.
- Prepare client reports, event summaries and performance insights, including ROI reporting where required.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies and innovative ways to enhance the client and guest experience.
- Contribute to quarterly planning and broader business initiatives across the Events team.
- Ensure all events are delivered safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

We are looking for someone who has:

- Demonstrated experience managing events from concept to delivery.
- Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Experience managing budgets, invoicing and financial reporting.
- Exceptional client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and a focus on delivering profitable outcomes.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in a fast-paced event environment.
