We have a new project kicking off in Rockhampton for some minor Civil Works. You will be a part of a small crew - and have labour and spotting support. We have an excavator or pozitrack that needs an operator (we have an existing operator that can do either so you will plug the gap with your best skill set).

You will be part of a small, tight-knit crew, so a positive attitude and willingness to support your teammates is just as key as your licence and experience.

Key duties

- Operating small to medium excavators
- Carpark rebuild, so final trim works will be required
- Assisting if labouring is required (There will be site labourers so just adhoc extras where extra hands are needed)
- Following site safety procedures and SWMS at all times

What you will need

- Current Excavator Ticket - Mandatory
- Construction White Card (General Induction)
- Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor, hands-on work
- Reliable transport to site (Rockhampton)
- Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol screen (Random Site Testing)

What is on offer

- $48-$53/hr + Penalties
- ($48 is Pozi, $53 is Excavator)
- Travel allowance on top of your hourly rate
- 6-7 Weeks Work
