We're a growing, registered NDIS provider seeking experienced, passionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team across Wollongong and the Illawarra.

With opportunities across Supported Independent Living (SIL), community participation, personal care and complex support environments, we're looking for confident professionals who take pride in delivering safe, respectful and person-centred support.

We are actively recruiting for casual positions, with opportunities across daytime, afternoon, evening, weekend, sleepover and active overnight shifts.

What you'll be doing

As a Disability Support Worker, you'll play an important role in supporting participants to achieve their goals, maintain independence and participate in everyday life. Depending on your experience and the needs of our participants, your responsibilities may include:
- Delivering individualised support within SIL homes and community environments.
- Assisting with personal care, daily living routines, meal preparation and household tasks.
- Supporting community access, recreational activities and social participation.
- Providing assistance in respite and short-term accommodation settings.
- Supporting participants with complex needs and following individual Behaviour Support Plans.
- Encouraging participant choice, independence, dignity and decision-making.
- Maintaining accurate progress notes, incident reports and required documentation.
- Working collaboratively with participants, families and colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality support.

What we're looking for

We're seeking experienced Disability Support Workers who are confident in their abilities, adaptable and committed to delivering exceptional support.

You'll bring:





- Demonstrated experience working with people with disability.
- A genuine understanding of person-centred support, participant rights and choice.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence working independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Reliability, professionalism and the ability to adapt to changing support needs.
- An understanding of safeguarding, qualified boundaries, confidentiality and incident reporting.
- Experience supporting participants with complex needs, or implementing Behaviour Support Plans, will be highly regarded.

Essential requirements

To be considered, applicants must have:
- Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or a relevant qualification.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
- Current Working With Children Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current driver's licence.
- Access to a reliable, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- Relevant medication and manual handling training.
- Demonstrated disability support experience.
