Kalamazoo Resources is seeking an exceptional exploration leader to drive resource growth and discovery at our 100%-owned, 1.44Moz Ashburton Gold Project in Western Australia’s Pilbara.
The opportunity
We are rapidly advancing the Mt Olympus deposit towards development while progressing a robust pipeline of resource growth and discovery opportunities across what we believe can become a long-life gold province.
The Ashburton Gold Project includes:
- A high-grade open-pit development at Mt Olympus
- Three additional defined sulphide resources
- An established oxide resource at Xanadu
- More than 500 km² of highly prospective ground
Building on more than 400,000 metres of historical drilling, we are applying modern datasets and contemporary exploration thinking to a district that was previously focused on smaller oxide gold systems.
The role

you will lead a high-performing team and take ownership of targeting, data integrity and program delivery—from concept development through to field execution.
What you’ll bring
- At least 12 years’ experience in exploration and/or mining geology
- Proven program leadership and field delivery across all stages of exploration
- Current Western Australian statutory supervisor qualifications
- Willingness to undertake the Exploration Manager statutory appointment on joining
Location and remuneration
$220–$240,000 plus superannuation and competitive incentive scheme. Perth-based, with campaign-based FIFO travel to the Pilbara.
